Lakers Ring Ceremony and Banner Night

So, my buddy Ian & I bit the bullet and bought a couple tickets from a broker (Barry's Tickets). Jan was out of town on business and couldn't join us.

I don't typically get my tickets this way, but I had to make this exception. I mean, how many times do you get to witness your team receive their rings and raise the banner? We just wanted to be in the building for this one.
We got there pretty damn early (3:30ish), so we grabbed a bite at ESPNzone then made our way in the doors at 5:30. They gave away this shirt:

We wandered through the Team LA Store.
We pretended that we were in the 100's level. I had to be a good wing-man. You never know if there are any chicks in the crowd checking Ian out.

But reality set in, and we were both "balling on a budget."
So, we got to our seats in Section 330, Row 6

But we had tons of time before the festivities.

So, we watched Sasha, Jordan, and Lamar go through their shootaround.
The ceremony started at 7:00 with the commish giving his spiel.

A bunch of Laker Greats such as West, Magic, Coop, Worthy, Kareem, AC, Fox, Horry, and Jamaal were introduced. Magic gave his $0.02.

The players finally receive their rings.

Fish counts down from 3...

The new banner is revealed (They took down the AFL Avengers Banner).

Here's our view of the new banner. What kind of BS is this!?!

All the players put their rings back on the table next to the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Then the new season gets underway.

The Mamba is in the building (With the new 4 Rings Colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV on the feet).

Ron-Ron was the only one on this roster not to receive a ring. Hopefully, watching the ceremony will add fuel to his fire.

As you can see, this squad has a lot of firepower.

It wasn't pretty, but we won.
One down, 81 to go.

Free tacos for all.

Got another shot of our new banner on the way out.

Till next time kids... Peace Out.
